Starting at 12:01 a.m. ET Sept. 9, 2011, the PBS NewsHour’s @NewsHourLive account tweeted the nearly 3,000 names of the victims of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The tweets ended about 3 a.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 12. It allowed people to follow and see names show up on their feed or check in on the account periodically throughout the weekend.
